Level

Our range of level meters is suitable for any type of application. Instruments available: ultrasound, radar, guided waves, hydrostatic, capacitive, conductive and vibration.

Ultrasound

Ultrasonic level gauges allow the display and transmission of level measurement of liquids or solids, contained in tanks, wells or tanks, without coming into direct contact with the product itself.

Radar

Radar level meter has a very simple operating principle; the instrument’s antenna sends short electromagnetic pulses. These pulses are irradiated by the antenna and then reflected by the surface of the product to be measured and again picked up by the antenna itself. The acquisition and calculation of the flight time of these pulses allows to calculate the distance traveled and, consequently, the level of the liquid in the tank. The type of operation makes the instrument insensitive to the presence of powders, vapors, high temperatures and pressures.

Guided wave radar

The guided wave radar level meter is ideal for solids such as powders, granules and bulk materials, in high and narrow sites, even in the food industry as they do not require new calibrations when the product is changed. TDR sensors also work in the presence of non-constant steam, pressure and temperature, dust and condensation. In some cases they are also used for liquids.

Capacitive

Capacitive level meter is one of the most used by the industry in general. Suitable for the measurement of liquids, solid granules and powders. Suitable for conductive fluids, non-conductive fluids (oils, gasoline) and solids (flours, sand, cement, coal, plastic granules).

Immersion hydrostatic

Hydrostatic swing level gauges allow continuous measurement and transmission of level of clean liquids contained in non-pressurized tanks but also work with fluids with suspended solids or sludges. The increase in level of the product in which the sensor is immersed increases the pressure generated by the weight of the overlying water column. This increase in pressure translates into a proportional increase of the electrical output signal.

Vibration

The vibrating level switch is particularly suitable for use on powders and granules but also perfect for all liquids. The operating principle is very simple; the two prongs are vibrated by the electronic insert, this vibration is absorbed by the presence of the product when it is in contact with the two prongs.
The reduction of vibrations is perceived by the electronic sensor that signals this change of state.
Typical application: flour, cereals, milk powder, sand, cement, plastic granules, expanded polystyrene, etc. It is suitable for the control of liquids such as oils, water, transparent paints and inks, sauces, milk, liquids containing carbon dioxide, and frothy oils.

Magnetic indicators

Magnetic level indicators allow you to view level without power supply. They are designed and manufactured on customer request. Level is displayed through flags that change color when the liquid reaches the float that is positioned in the by-pass mounted externally to the tank. Used in the chemical industry, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, machine building, power generation plants, power plants.

Floating

Float level switch indicates level limit when the float is raised by the increase in the liquid in the tank. A reed contact is placed in the sliding rod and activated by the float magnet. Float switches are also available with multiple switching points (multiple float). Mounted vertically, on the head or on the bottom of the tank.

Level regulator

Level regulator is erroneously defined as “float”, but this model does NOT float; if reached by liquid it only changes the position, rotating about 45 °, switching the electrical contact. Suitable in the water treatment sector for pump running and stopping.
